Question: as you stated, you are a Space Operations Engineer. My question is: do you ever aspire to go to space or participate/be involved in assisting a mission to space?

I wanted to be an astronaut when I was young and I was inspired by Helen Sharman, the first British astronaut when I was around 6. I’ve always been interested in space and would go to space if I had the chance. The opportunities that commercial space companies are creating including Virgin Galactic and Blue Origin are really exciting. It’s also been fantastic to have worked on a spacesuit project called the Skinsuit at the European Space Agency and having seen that developed from a prototype to now being used in space onboard the ISS by astronauts to improve their spinal health.
