In high school I did well in an engineering course where credits could transfer to the university. I chose not to transfer the credits because I never thought I’d be an engineer!

After taking more math, chemistry, and physics, I decided to enroll in civil engineering to test it out. Most engineers take the same general courses the first two years at uni anyways.

I decided that I enjoyed civil engineering the most because the problems were very “hands-on” and practical. Even within civil engineering there were a lot of sub-categories that kept me busy. Eventually I got more into satellite positioning and navigation and that’s what I’m doing now!
