To begin with, I was really interested in the subjects and really passionate about studying. Towards the end, especially near exam time, I got quite exhausted and fed up with studying all the time… but I knew that once it was over I would be super proud of my achievement and didn’t want to waste all the hard work I’d put in so far! It was all worth it and afterwards I was really happy to have done it and that it got me to be where I am today 🙂

I am motivated by challenging myself and satisfaction. For some reason I’m really satisfied when math works and you get the correct answer. I also like to challenge myself, even if I think I’ll fail, because then success is more fulfilling. I think these qualities motivated me during the occasional all-nighter and weekend study sessions.

I really wanted to work in the space industry so that motivated me to try to do well at school. I really liked my subjects too, so that also helps. It’s also good to remember that it really is a short-time to work-hard but it sets you up for the rest of your life.
